Application Procedure

  • Resume
  • Nine References
    • Home and business contact info, identifying phone and e-mail address from each of the following:
      • Supervisor
      • Faculty
      • Support Staff (Classified or Confidential) Direct Report
      • Administrative Direct Report
      • Trustee
      • Community Member
  • Application Letter
    • No more than five (5) pages
    • Addresses suitability for the position relative to qualifications, desired attributes, and District strengths & challenges information provided on this site.
  • Unofficial transcripts of all college-level coursework (official transcripts will be required as candidates are advanced to finalist status.)


Anticipated Timeline
First level interviews are scheduled to be conducted by the Search Committee in late Feb/early March 2018. All other applicants will be notified by mail. Initial interviews are tentatively scheduled for March 28-April 5, 2018.

Selected finalists will be invited for final interviews with the Board of Trustees and public forums tentatively scheduled for the week of May 8-12. Board approval of the selected candidate is anticipated to be in late May or early June, with a mutually agreed start date. It is our goal to have the new Chancellor begin in July or other mutually agreed date. The position will remain open until filled. The District reserves the right to close, continue, cancel, postpone or restart the selection process at any time.
