The Public Affairs department is part of the Chancellor's Office and provides support for advancing the mission of the district and its colleges through internal and external communications, government relations, community relations, media relations, legislative advocacy, institutional marketing and publications.
The department supports the Board of Trustees, Chancellor, and executive management staff and coordinates with the colleges’ marketing and communications offices. It is responsible for creating and distributing new releases, responding to public records requests, and informing the public of district news and events.
