Ryan Brook has been appointed as the new District Director for the Office of the Chancellor and Board Operations

Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted to announce that after an extensive search, Ryan Brook has been appointed as the new District Director for the Office of the Chancellor and Board Operations, effective January 2, 2025. Ryan will be succeeding Grace Garcia, who is retiring after an extraordinary 25-year tenure with SOCCCD.
Ryan brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of leadership to this role. Over his 17 years with SOCCCD, he has demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill. Most recently, he has excelled as the Manager for the Office of the President at Saddleback College for the past seven years. His previous roles within SOCCCD include Senior Administrative Assistant for the Office of the President, Administrative Assistant for Health and Human Services, and Program Assistant for Health Sciences, Human Services, and the Emeritus Institute. Ryan’s extensive experience, combined with his outstanding interpersonal skills and strong working relationships, make him the ideal candidate to further the Board’s goals and the mission of SOCCCD.
