Mission Viejo, CA – The South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD) is proud to announce the appointment of two of its esteemed trustees to leadership roles within the Orange County School Board Association (OCSBA) for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Trustee T.J. Prendergast has been promoted to serve as Treasurer on the Orange County School Board Association, representing the interests of students, educators, and the community at-large. His extensive experience and dedication to education have made him a respected leader within our district and the broader educational community. His promotion to this role underscores his commitment to ensuring that Orange County continues to provide exceptional educational opportunities for all students.

Additionally, Trustee Carolyn Inmon has been appointed as the Community College Representative on the OCSBA. In this role, Trustee Inmon will bring her deep understanding of community college issues and her passion for student success to the forefront, advocating for the needs and interests of community colleges across Orange County. Her leadership and vision will be instrumental in shaping policies that support community college students and enhance educational pathways.

The OCSBA plays a critical role in supporting and advocating for educational initiatives across Orange County, bringing together school board members from various districts to collaborate on issues that affect students at all levels. The SOCCCD is honored to have two of its trustees contributing to this important work.
